Oscar Andrés Divito was born in Buenos Aires City, on January 10th, 1964. By the time he finished his studies on Design in the Fernando Fader School, in the same city, he was already studying Sculpture at the Plastics Arts School of Avellaneda, having this institution awarded him with a fellowship. These are the first steps which bring him to Drawing.
- During 1982 and 1983 he studies Drawing with Enrique Fernández at the Plastics Arts School of Avellaneda.
- In 1984 he studies Drawing with Prof. Moriyaku Koakura.
- During 1988 and 1989 he takes advanced Drawing lessons at the same School.
- In 1987 he starts working in Filete Porteño (Filleting, typical Buenos Aires handcraft) mixing drawing and wood carving.
- In 1991 he completes studies in the Fine Arts Superior School, where he studied Sculpture.
- His vocation for Arts takes him to the Theatre Institute of Avellaneda City, where he gets the degree of Puppeteer Actor en 1996 and that of Specialized Teacher in Education through Arts in 1997.
- He engages to Filleting during several years, working with cars and old automobiles. His passion for Drawing begins to take shape during his stay in the city of Barcelona from 2002 to 2006, where his involvement with Filleting intensifies, participating in the exposition Auto Retro Barcelona, in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.
- Upon return to Buenos Aires he also goes back to Drawing and Painting, both in oil and acrylic.
- He is currently working in his studio located in La Tablada, in the Province of Buenos Aires. Also, he shows and sells his works in San Telmo, in the Buenos Aires City Museum Official Exposition.
